Should I use a laptop, desktop, tablet or phone?
Students will have the most optimal All About Aerodynamics experience when using a desktop or laptop computer because the tablet or mobile versions of certain apps may not offer all of the same features.
What if I have trouble seeing the live stream?
Sometimes Internet connections just aren’t as strong as we would like them to be. However, all classes are recorded and saved online. So if there was something you missed, you can go back and re-watch the class again in HD video.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
All About Aerodynamics is meant to be an interactive experience. A big part of the online experience is the interaction between the participants and being able to see and speak to one another. However, we know there may be times when you can’t turn on your camera because of a technical issue or some other reason. That’s ok. But if you can, go ahead and turn your camera on.
What do I need to participate?
Along with a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or phone, and a high-speed internet connection, you just need about 10 sheets of paper and crayons or markers to make signs we will use during the program. An active email account is also necessary.
Do I need a Gmail account?
Because we primarily work through Google Classroom and use Google Slides, having a free Google or Gmail account will probably make things work a little more smoothly, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry, we can work around that. An email address of some kind is necessary.
